As May comes to an end, we are delighted to announce that our surfing lessons this month at My Khe Beach in Da Nang were a great success. From beginners to experienced surfers and return visitors, many participated and had enjoyable and rewarding experiences. We hope everyone who visited us had a meaningful time.
Lesson Content
Beginner Class
In the beginner class, we emphasize the basics of surfing posture, paddling techniques, and safety rules. Safety is our top priority in this extreme sport! New surfers were able to learn gradually with the meticulous guidance of our experienced instructors and enjoyed riding their first waves on the first day.
The lessons start with safety theory, followed by on-land and in-water practice. From the second session onwards, both on-land and in-water training continue. Initially, many were nervous, but as time passed, they gained confidence and had wonderful experiences riding the waves.
Intermediate Class
The intermediate class begins with a brief safety theory test, followed by a review and practice of basic skills in the ocean. Participants then learn how to read waves and perform turning techniques. This class offers an opportunity to improve balance and master various techniques on the waves, enhancing their surfing skills. Instructors provide personalized guidance tailored to each participant’s level, ensuring effective practice and skill development.
Instructor Introduction
At Holiday Surf, our instructors boast extensive experience and certifications, combined with an unparalleled passion for surfing. They meticulously assess each student’s skill level to provide tailored lessons. Surfing is not just an activity but a lifestyle and culture, and our instructors emphasize this along with the importance of nature. They guide students towards improvement, boosting their confidence and fostering a love for the ocean.
The instructors in the photo are Korean, and we also have instructors from advanced surfing countries like South Africa and France. These international instructors assist during lessons. We have the largest number of Korean instructors in Da Nang, and their exceptional surfing skills are widely recognized.
